Making a reservation with Scottsdale Car Service constitutes your agreement to the following Rates Disclaimer which is part of our Terms and Conditions of service.

General
The purpose of this Rates Disclaimer is to offer a detailed presentation of  Scottsdale Car Service's published rates and packages and a list of standard extra charges incurred by extra services provided.

Rates Structure
All Scottsdale Car Services rates published on scottsdalecarservice.com include all applicable taxes. They do not, however, include charges incurred by extra services provided and there may be a fuel surcharge.  All customers must agree to an 18% gratuity added to their final bill for all airport rides. If  the customer wishes to give an additional gratuity to the driver, it is totally at their own discretion .

Cancellations
Scottsdale Car Service requires a cancellation by phone (480 502 2221) 24 hours prior to service for scheduled pickups. Any cancellation not made within the required time by phone will be charge the full rate of the scheduled trip. Trips booked for three (3) hours or greater require a 50 percent deposit at the time of booking. This becomes non-refundable 48 hours prior to contract start time;  Stretch limousines reservations require 5 days prior notice of cancellation.

Airport Rides
An airport ride is defined as a pick up at one address in a city and drop off at an airport or pick up at an airport and drop off at one address in one city. No extra stops, waiting time, meet and greet at the airport, or any other type of extra services are included in our airport rides published rates or estimates/quotes (unless otherwise mentioned). All such extra services and others will incur extra charges.

Point to Point
A point to point ride is defined as pick up at one address in one city and drop off at one address in the same or another city. Point to point rides are also commonly referred to as transfers, pick up and drop off or simply pick and drop. No extra stops, waiting time, driving around, or any other type of extra services are included in our point to point rides published rates or estimates/quotes (unless otherwise mentioned). All such extra services and others will incur extra charges (see table below).

Hourly As Directed
Hourly as directed service is also commonly referred to as hourly service, hourly charter or simply charter. All hourly as directed rates published on scottsdalecarservice.com as well as estimates/quotes include unlimited number of  stops as long as the pick up and drop off addresses are not beyond a 35 miles radius of Sky Harbor International Airport. All charters start at the scheduled pick up time and end when all passengers have left the vehicle. Extra time for charters is calculated and billed in 30(thirty) minutes increments with fractions rounded to the next 30(thirty) minutes interval.

Packages
A package is defined as a special price offered by Scottsdale Car Service for a clearly stated number of hours for a specific event. They are under the same rules as a regular hourly as directed service, with the exception that they have a special price which includes gratuity. All packages start at the scheduled pick up time, and end when all passengers have left the vehicle,.

Any package has an hourly rate associated with it. This is the rate that Scottsdale Car Service will charge for extra time (beyond the number of hours for which the package is offered). The amount owed for the extra time is calculated and billed in 30(thirty) minutes increments with fractions rounded to the next 30(thirty) minutes interval and will incur a 18% gratuity to which all customers must agree.

IMPORTANT! Please note that the final bill for packages is calculated based on the package for which you made the reservation. For example: if you make a reservation for the lower number of hours package and end up using the vehicle for such a higher number of hours that would have normally qualified you for the higher package, the final bill would still be calculated based on the lower number of hours package and its corresponding hourly rate. Please note that under no circumstances can we, or our drivers, switch you to the more convenient package. Please carefully examine your needs before placing your reservation to ensure you opt for the right package. Our reservations specialists will be more than happy to assist you with this decision.

Schedule Of Extra Charges

Below is our schedule of standard extra charges. These are the most commonly encountered extra charges. Scottsdale Car Service reserves the right to charge extra for any type of extra services provided which are not included  below.

Waiting Time:    $15 for each set of 1 to 15 minutes
(charged after a 15 minutes grace period)

Extra Stops   $10 and up
(actual amount depends on how far off the most direct route the stop is)

Meet And Greet at the airport : $25

Car Seats:  $10 per seat

Late Night / Early Morning pick ups:  No extra charge with hourly.  4am-6am: $10;  After midnight: $15 for point to point.

Holidays:  $25 each way
(for airport runs; all other types of services are subject to availability and special rates)
(holidays incurring an extra charge are: New Years Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve)
